Try these before opening a ticket.

Solves ~70% of "won't launch" reports. Run them in order — most installs survive step 3.

  1. Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection.
  2. Under Virus & threat protection settings click Manage settings.
  3. Scroll to Exclusions → Add or remove exclusions → Add an exclusion → Folder.
  4. Select your cheatsim\ install folder and confirm.
  5. Running a third-party AV (Kaspersky, ESET, Bitdefender…)? Add the same folder to its exclusions too.
  1. Right-click cheatsim.exe → Run as administrator and approve the UAC prompt.
  2. Do not use Properties → Compatibility mode — it breaks the driver handshake.
  3. If UAC keeps blocking it, make sure your Windows account is an Administrator account.
  1. Reboot and tap F2 / Del (board-dependent) to enter BIOS/UEFI.
  2. Open the Security or Boot tab → set Secure Boot to Disabled.
  3. Save & exit (usually F10). Windows boots normally afterwards.
  4. On some laptops you must set a Supervisor password first to unlock the toggle.
  1. NVIDIA: open the NVIDIA app → Drivers → update to 555.99+.
  2. AMD: open Adrenalin → check for updates → 24.5.1+.
  3. Seeing artifacts after updating? Do a clean install with DDU in safe mode, then reinstall.
  4. Reboot once the driver finishes installing.
  1. Sign in → Account → Dashboard → Reset HWID.
  2. Launch the loader once on the machine you want to use — it re-binds automatically.
  3. Free once every 30 days. Locked out sooner? Ping an operator and we'll reset it manually.
